Be in the know at Brownridge:

 

  1. Happy New Year to all of our Brownridge Families! Welcome back!

  2. Brownridge is hosting a full day Red Cross babysitting course for students in grades 6-8 on Friday, January 17 (This is a PA Day).  The course will run from 9 am to 3:30 pm. The cost is $68 and forms are available in the office if your child(ren) wish(es) to participate.

  3. Students in grades 4-6 will be hearing author Kevin Sylvester speak on Wednesday, January 8 at the Vaughan Public Library. Please ensure you have returned permission forms so your child can attend.

  4. Join us on Monday, January 13 for our School Council Meeting at 6:30pm in the library.

  5. Thursday, January 9th is a spirit day. Wear your Bear Wear or blue and white clothing.

  6. Friday, January 17 and Friday, January 31 are PA Days. There is no school for students on these days.

  7. Families of grade 8 students going into grade 9 at Vaughan SS are invited to a meet and greet with Principal Maria Maiato at Brownridge PS from 7pm-8pm on Thursday, January 23. She will be discussing life at high school and will have a Q&A session.

Dear Brownridge Families,

Here is some info to know:

  1. Students in K-5 enjoyed The Dufflebag Theatre presentation of The Three Little Pigs which took place on Thursday. Students were thoroughly engaged and enjoyed this classic story.
  2. Movie Night was a huge success. Thanks to friends and families who were able to join us. Thanks to the grade 8 grad fundraising committee for organizing the evening.
  3. Please return the lunchtime and after school program flyers if you are interested in signing up. Forms were sent home last week. Need more info? Please call the office at 905-660-3083.
  4. Monday is TWIN DAY. Have your child show their spirit by dressing up with a friend as a twin!
  5. Tuesday is our Winter Concert from 9:15-10:15. Please click Winter concert 2019 for details.
  6. Are you leaving early for the holidays? Please let the office know in advance. Thank you.

Good morning everyone! This is a reminder that today is Ugly Sweater Day at Brownridge. Show your spirit by wearing your best ugly sweater and earn points for your house colour team. 

Today is also the staff vs. student (int boys volleyball team) volleyball game. Students in grades 1-8 are invited to watch from 12:40-1:20. Students are asked to bring a non-perishable food item, new toy, new clothing or gift card to support our Holiday Heroes Poster 2019 Campaign. 

This is also a reminder that Brownridge is hosting its first free MOVIE NIGHT on Thursday, December 12. Come out and enjoy some time with friends. We are asking families to provide us with a little bit of information to help make the evening more fun. Please go to https://forms.gle/jSwqNXusY5nP48mQ8​.

Dear Brownridge Families,

We are very excited about the upcoming FREE MOVIE NIGHT at Brownridge on Thursday, December 12. Please go to the following link https://forms.gle/jSwqNXusY5nP48mQ8​ to let us know if you will be ordering pizza, how many in your family are coming and which movie you intend to watch so we can prepare accordingly. Remember you can wear your pyjamas and please bring a new toy/new clothing/gift card/non perishable food item to support our Holiday Heroes Campaign.
