PINK SHIRT DAY- FEBRUARY 24- Pink Shirt Day is a globally recognized day in support of anti-bullying, up-standing behaviour and simple acts of kindness. On February 24, 2021, we are encouraged to practice kindness and wear pink to show that we do not tolerate any form of bullying. #makeadifference #beahero

CAPES FOR KIDS– SUCH A WORTHY CAUSE! Brownridge is embarking on another journey of kindness and community outreach to build on our Holiday Heroes Campaign. Over the next couple weeks, we will be fundraising for Holland Bloorview with Capes for Kids! Our goal is to collect $1000 in this amazing school wide initiative. To celebrate, we are encouraging all students to wear a cape to school on March 5th, 2021 to recognize the heroic potential in all of us. The funds raised will go directly to helpings kids with disabilities discover their super powers at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, Canada’s largest pediatric rehabilitation hospital, in Toronto. Families will be provided with a link where they can make a donation. Additional information can be found at https://fundraise.capesforkids.ca/capes2021/brownridge-p.s.-

Join Ms. Large and Ms. Braiantsis on Wednesday, February 24 at 6:30pm to learn how to make a cape. A link will be sent to all families shortly. #makeadifference #beahero
