From all of us at Brownridge Public School, we’d like to take this opportunity to wish our community a very happy and healthy holiday season and a wonderful New Year. Winter break runs from December 25th to January 5th. We look forward to everyone’s safe return to school when classes resume on January 8th, 2018.

We are very excited for this evening’s Winter Concert with students in grades 1-4. THE CONCERT BEGINS PROMPTLY AT 6PM. Parents/guardians are asked to bring their student 20-30 minutes early to the appropriate holding room.

This is a reminder the winter session hot lunches will only be available online until Friday December 15, 2017.  Don’t miss out!!

Here’s what you need to know to be in the know….

• Tomorrow is the final day for our Holiday Heroes campaign. Items will be picked up at 9am so please consider donating new clothing (hats, gloves, coats, socks), non-perishable food items, gift cards and new unwrapped toys before then. Together we can make a huge difference in our community.
• Bingo Night is tomorrow, Thursday, December 14 at 6pm. School Council has been working tirelessly to organize the evening. Info has been blogged and is available on the school website. Come on out for some family fun!
• Our Winter Concert is taking place on Thursday, December 21 at 6pm. Students in grades 1-4 will be presenting. Stay tuned for more info coming your way.
• Please remember to call the school by 9am to let us know if your child will be late or absent. Our phone number is 905-660-3083.
• Winter Break is around the corner. Our last day of classes is Friday, December 22. School Resumes on Monday, January 8.
• Our Lost and Found has acquired many items since the beginning of the school year. Students have been asked to see if anything belongs to them. Please feel free to take a look when you are here next to see if anything belongs to your student. Any items not claimed by December 21 will be donated to charity. 
• The weather is getting colder. Please pack your students with a hat, gloves, winter boots and a warm jacket as they will be going outside for recess and lunch recess if the weather permits. Remember, if your child is too sick to go outside for recess they are too sick to come to school.
