Halloween Costumes and Treats

29 Oct

Halloween costumes can be worn at school in the afternoon tomorrow. Please remember, that there are NO replica weapons, masks of any kind and frightening costumes allowed. We follow the YRDSB Code of Student Conduct which states being in possession of a weapon or replica weapon is inappropriate behaviour that can lead to serious consequences.,

With Halloween treats being brought to school for snacks, we ask that you continue to support our several students/staff with life-threatening nut allergies.  Please read the packaging list of ingredients carefully. The treats that say ” may contain traces of peanut”  should not be sent to school.

Periodically, there is information that the school sends out through email blasts from the school Brownridge account. As we do not do paper newsletters, information that we want all parents to read is sent through these “email blasts”.  If you have not been receiving emails directly from our school account, please check your junk mail file and if not there, contact the office 905-660-3083 and speak with Mrs. Sacke.

Please note, the information is also posted on our school blog, so please, if you have not already, sign up to follow our blog.

As well, don’t forget to check the Google school calendar tab on the blog and the school’s outdoor sign for significant dates/events.
