Our Winter Concert has been rescheduled to Monday night, Dec. 15 at 7:00 p.m. Please join us and bring a non-perishable food item for the Vaughan Food Bank.

Due to the inclement weather conditions, the YRDSB has made a determination that all schools cancel after school activities. Tonight’s Winter Concert is Cancelled.

The concert will be held next Thursday, Dec. 18th at 7:00 pm.

Clothing Cupboard Helping Our Community

The Clothing Cupboard is a community clothing bank run by the Family Resource Centre in partnership with Jewish Family and Child Services. It operates out of the 3rd floor in the Promenade and offers clothing to families (all Faiths) who are in need. At this current time, there are NEW children’s boots up to size 6, snow suits for younger children, children/youth winter jackets for girls and boys from sizes 6-14 and a variety of sizes of snowpants. The items are on a first come first serve basis and are limited. Please call 416 219-4940 Mon-Thurs between the hours of 10-4, or you can also email karin@thefamilyresourcecentre.ca to set up a time to meet.

They require one piece of ID proofing residency in York Region.

The Clothing Cupboard also accepts very gently used, seasonal clothing. Please read attached flyer Clothing Cupboard-donations

Winter Concert Dec. 11 at 7:00 p.m.

Our annual Winter Concert is this Thursday at 7:00 p.m. The following classses/choirs will be performing: Mrs. Parish, Ms Wong, Mrs Derfel, Mr. Tancon, Ms Large, Mrs. Cutler Grad5/6, Ms Lovatsis, Junior Choir, and the Nothin’ But Treble Choir. The other classes will be performing at the Spring Concert.

For students performing, please do your best to wear black on the bottom and white on the top. You need to be at school 15 minutes prior to concert start, 6:45. Parents, we encourage you to stay for the entire concert (one hour) and enjoy the presentations. The students will be supervised by teachers when they are not performing.

Brownridge is supporting our local food bank for the holiday season. We encourage families to bring non-perishable food item(s) concert night. The collection bins are in the front foyer. Thank you for your support.

Lunch Assistants NEEDED!

We are looking for lunch assistants for the new school year. This a paid position ( 5 hours total per week). Please contact the school office, 905-660-3083,  if you are interested or know of someone who would be a good candidate.

Lost and Found

We have laid out the clothing from our lost and found on tables in our front hallway. We have an extensive variety of clothing! We encourage you to check for items that may have been lost at school. If you come during the school day, you need to sign in at the office first.
