Vice-Principal Change

Please join Brownridge in extending Mr. Yao best wishes and good luck as he moves to Herb Carnegie for the upcoming school year. At the same time, we would like to welcome Pam McInnis our new vice-principal who will be joining the Brownridge team in September. Ms McInnis brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience as a VP.

Fun Fair – June 18th @ 5:30 pm

Dear Brownridge Families,

Fun fair is coming THIS WEDNESDAY from 5:30- 8:00, rain or shine.  There will be lots of great food, games and entertainment for everybody, and don’t forget our silent auction.  To view the list of just SOME of the items we will have available on our auction block click here

Track and Field Meets

On June 10 and 11, over 105 students who placed 1st and 2nd at Brownridge’s Track and Field Meet will compete at the Area Track and Field meet at Vaughan Secondary School. The juniors will compete on June 10th and the intermediates will compete on June 11th.  The events will include running events, high jump, standing long jump, running long jump, triple jump, ball throw and shot put. The top two competitors from each Area event will qualilfy for the Regional Track and Field Meet, held on June 18 at the Stouffville Recreation Centre. Let’s wish them good luck!

Grade 8 Graduation

On Tuesday, June 17, 2014 the grade 8 students of Brownridge Public School will be honoured at the graduation ceremony at Thornhill Golf & Country Club. It is mandatory that graduating students attend the rehearsal before the ceremony and stay at school unless the students’ parents choose otherwise. Graduating students must arrive at the Thornhill Golf & Country Club at 6:00pm to prepare for the ceremony. Family and guests of the students will arrive at 6:30pm and must leave at 7:45pm without the students. The students will then attend the graduation dinner and dance from 7:45pm to 10:30pm. Students must have plans to be picked up from the venue at 10:30pm. Changes in pick-up plans are not acceptable as every student must leave by 10:30pm.
