Brownridge News – Fire Bell

18 Feb

At approximately 1:00 p.m. the fire bell went off at Brownridge. Following fire drill procedures, the school was evacuated. As it was during the lunch hour, the majority of our students were already outdoors for recess. The fire department arrived, checked the school premises and deemed the school safe for re-entry. Students re-entered at 1:25 p.m. and resumed afternoon classes as scheduled.

As a result of numerous fire drill practices, our staff and students responded quickly and effectively to the situation.
